I am sure this isn't perfect for his high standards. So if it passes
the clear coats, & is rejected. I will offer it to another person
waiting with a playfield here. I will then try again to meet
perfection or close to it. This is the best for allignment, others may
not be as good.

The alignment looks excellent to me. Does the presence of the smudge
mean that it will not go to Korn? Or has he not decided.

No word yet, but I think he is looking for perfection. It looks like
Sorcerer's first, & then Space Shuttle's. Another Sorcerer gets inked
this week, & all the rest early January.

Wow, that came out perfect(except fot that darn smudge!) The alignment
looks good, and the colors look spot on.

Actually, this is the first I'm reading of it here, Ed.

I've been in the boat so long, I almost don't know what anything else is
like at this point. :)

The registration does look very good on that print. But yeah that smudge
is killing me. If I had to choose between alignment being off and the
smudge, I think I'd have to go with slightly-less-good alignment.

(Talk about a Sophie's Choice! OK maybe not *that* bad... :) )

It's so close to being perfect I think it should be re-run.

John;
I have been watching this off and on over the years and I applaud you
innovation and tenacity. A playfield that is less than totally flat
seems like it could be an ongoing issue. You may need to devise a
repair procedure other than starting over. Since it is just the
smudge that is wrecking this PF, could this area be repaired using
"conventional" techniques? Acrylics, airbrush etc?

Yes the boards are warped over the years, which is really evident
after rails & everything removed. I believe we have a good system in
place & things will be totally finished by April (all playfields). If
Korn & the others don't want this playfield, & clear coats are nice. I
will quickly substitute a new worn playfield. People are in real need
& its a waste to sand them done again if it is nice.

High Speed art is being remastered to a high level of detail. Star
Gazer should be here in new year (final art), if not we run with the
old file.
