Guys,

Good grief, why is it that it is impossible to download any of the
tables from

http://www.vpforums.com

???

It just goes in an endless loop from a given tables registration page,
to "you need to log in" over and over again. Management is non-
responsive to a request to fix.

With that in mind, does anyone have the VPinMame files for:

Alien Poker
Gottlieb Spider-Man

or know an alternate place where downloads work?

If you have them, if you would email them to me, I would appreciate
it.

WARNING you can get the torrent here in about 15 minutes, but that
will be the last thing you get if you don't follow the site's rules.
They are a STRICT ratio torrent site. They offer the MAME roms and
some others as a "free" download (doesn't count against your ratio).
So you are strongly encouraged to start with that torrent and seed for
a while while SLOWLY downloading the PinMAME (and visual pinball)
tables. Use the throttling commands on your torrent client to keep
your download speeds slow for the non-free torrents, or run the risk
of getting shitlisted -- for life (they also track IPs, so NO
duplicate accounts)

It redirects to VPF, but the correct location or something. Also
links to the roms.

Well, buying the DVD would probably have an expired dll for vpinmame.
You should be able to download them from the tables page, but to do so
you'd need to kill your popup blocker. That's why it's not working
for you and telling you to wait 5 minutes or whatever.

If you have a pop-up blocker running it will mess with their validation
scheme. Take steps to allow pop-ups from their site.
