Hi folks, I am looking for a copy of the schematics for the Bally's Miss America 75 bingo machine. Does anyone know what the button on the rail are, and how to work them?

That site ^^^ has copies of the manual and schematic as well as score/instruction cards and pretty much everything you might need to understand the game.

Regarding the footrail buttons... A-E, when the Magic Lines feature is lit (and it can light AB, then each additional letter one-at-a-time, or all at once), allow you to slide the indicated lines back and forth one step. So each line has three positions. This allows you to reposition each number on each card horizontally to allow you to make more combinations.

You are only allowed to use these buttons, as I stated, if you have the feature lit, but there is also a timed element. Either before shooting your fourth ball, or before shooting your fifth ball, you will have the ability to press those buttons, but not after. The last ball available will the press buttons now on the backglass when your time is about to expire.

As to the other buttons...

The 'S' button starts searching for winners. You can have winners independently counted in each color (white, green, red, yellow). If the game finds a winner (3 or more in a row), it will stop and flash double or nothing on the backglass... at this point pressing 'R' will award the indicated number of replays for that color (shown in the odds section at the bottom of the glass for five, four, and three in a row), or D for a chance at double the indicated replays. The other option is that you're awarded nothing at all.

I really like Miss America '75 for the Double or Nothing feature. It's a quick way to rack up a ton of replays, along with the Magic Lines that allow you to place a single number on the same card in multiple positions.

The buttons on the front of the cabinet - red starts a new game and plays for additional chances at advancing your odds in each color (independently), or awarding features like corners or Magic Lines.

Yellow gives you a chance at earning one of three extra balls. You have to keep pressing the button until 1st Extra and Ball are all lit before a ball will be lifted to you. Same for 2nd and 3rd.

Hopefully that all makes sense.
