dummy here...really am struggling getting the hang of diagnosing pin
issues. My sis-in-law has a Jungle Lord. When I turn on the game,
the lights come on and the number 2503 2 shows up in the Player 1
display, but that's it. No startup sounds or anything. But, the
flippers are active as soon as the game is turned on (not after
starting a game, as soon as the power switch it turned on. The game
won't startup and the numbers in the Player 1 window stay there. I
can cycle through the settings but that doesn't help either.

The batteries have been changed out to a remote battery holder but no
change. Any suggestions? The game is 2 hours from me and I don't get
there often...I was bummed I couldn't get it going today.

Thanks in advance.

John,

The game is booting into "audit" mode.
Open the coin door, and quickly cycle power. I bet it comes up in
attract mode.

The cpu board is not saving the settings or the batteries have been
replaced. Open the coin door, make sure the black button is up, and
press advance. The credit window should progress up to 50, press it
again and it should exit audit mode and to into attract mode where you
can play. Try turning it off and back on to see if it saves its
settings. If you turn it back on and it comes up in attract mode,
your good to go. if not report back here and people can give you some
hints on what to check.

I called Sis in Law....walked her through the above to no avail...I
won't be down there for a while...may have to see if I can find a
local repair guy to go look at it unless anyone has another
suggestion.
