Wow! Was this recent?
He screwed me over on the same brittle fender washers way back when, I
can't believe he's still making those nacho chips! Or maybe he took
advantage of you and dumped 1000pcs old stock to someone out of the
country because he couldn't sell them here...

(cue "Jeff's a good guy" posts)

I just talked to a friend who's pretty pissed at Jeff over his recent
products and business practices. Of course there is a long history on
RGP of Jeff and his company. I personally wouldn't buy anything from
him based on his history here.

If you paid via credit card take it to the card company. Paypal may not like it
but they imho can't do much about it and themself will get the money back from
'honest Jeff used pinball parts dealer'.

Well this is genius, I guess I should never buy anything from Jeff and
since I have no idea who the hell Jeff is I'll have to assume anyone
named Jeff is a scammer. Sorry all you Jeff's out there but you're all
scammers.

Does this mean that Jeff from Classsic Arcades is still in business
after many years hosting his annual "Final Going Out of Business Blow
Out Sale"?????
Jeff has a long history of making POS plastics that shatter into
hundreds of pieces.
Sadly, Jeff could have ruled the pinball repo market if he was a
better (honest) business man and used quailty materials.

. . . . or spacially challenged. I've seen a set of his cab stencils
where nothing lined up. Pinball is business to these people. They
mean well, occasionally put out something that can actually be used on
a game, but if you're looking for customer service you might want to
get it before the check clears.

LOL.....The best way to fix rolling eyes is to slap the side of the
head in a firm but understanding/caring fashion. The eyes tend to stop
rolling and focus rather quickly. Careful though, too firm of a slap
and water will start flowing from them, and then it could take hours
to stop the flow...

Yep, let me throw my hat in the ring, too. Bought some FT plastic
"protectors" (what a laugh) from Jeffy-boy. Supposedly came with a
lifetime warranty . . . first game after installing them, I find
little pieces of broken "protectors" all over the playfield. Tried
contacting him through e-mail and by telephone with no response. So
much for the "lifetime" warranty .

I don't know of anyone that's had a positive experience from these
bozos.

I bought a set of TZ protector plastics from Jeff at the first show
that I went
to and tested them to see how they held up to a bit of bending. They
didn't.
I'm glad I tested them by hand than in the machine.

I know Jeff Make A Fee reads RGP and he will also hawk his Flea Bay
crap on RGP so I wonder if he has the balls to respond to these "angry
customer/anti Classic Arcades" posts........
I think not.
Says alot about a guy who took advantage of many good guys who
"trusted" a fellow RGP guy.
I would love to write more about "Scammer Jeff Make A Fee" but, I have
to go pick up tiny pieces of shattered plastic from my F14 from those
POS "protectors" he sold me.

I still love the post he wrote about his daughters cat breaking the
Rolling Stones BG and he was taking the cat to the pound. Hell...
even the cat thinks he is an idiot! MEEEOW!!!

So I see Jeff and Crystal are still up to there old tricks.
GREAT business people these pair !!

All I can say is birds of a feather flock together and maybe some of
you should take a look at the 'Australian Gold" thread currently
running at RGP.

There are 2 things that should be done....1st is contact your CC company & do a chargeback as "items different than described". They will side with you. This has to be done in a timely fashion, so don't waste any more time.
Secondly, Jeff is a POS seller and should be outed on a weekly basis as people tend to have VERY short memory spans concerning him (I don't know why-once a crook, always a crook in my book). If people stop dealing with him he'll go away. It'll take time, but he'll go away. This hobby has no room for people such as himself. He doesn't sell anything unique or special or rare that cannot be sourced elsewhere. He was selling some NOS backglasses a few months back-I wonder how THAT went? Has anyone here bought & more importantly received the backglasses? Were they as described?
I've been in this hoby for around 40 years and have seen all too many posts on this loser. On a personal level, I cannot stand people like him. Your mileage may very well NOT vary.....

I'll just share my experiences without comment or judgement.

About 8-10 years ago I scanned the upper (clear blue) playfield decals for Space Station and cleaned them up in Photoshop. I sent them to Jeff and asked him to reproduce the decals. He did, and I bought 2 or 3 sets for myself. They came quickly and the quality was very good. I know he lost money on these because few other people came forward to buy them.

I have also purchased insert decals for Space Station and Fathom. The Fathom decals are fine, but some of the decals for Space Station are too small. Many years later, I ordered a new set of Space Station insert decals from Planetary, and they have exactly the same problem - for about twice what I paid Jeff for the 1st set. I do need to email Planetary about this so that they can address it.

I think I bought a set of WW plastics from Jeff, which broke easily because they were acrylic. Before I could even complain, Jeff sent me a second set (because others had complained). I think I still have most of that 2nd set, because I only had a few plastics that broke (and I use the PinBits plastic protectors).

I can tell all of you that I have spent thousands of dollars with Jeff on artwork, stencils, drop targets, custom artwork that no one else would make...and he has helped me bring back to life dozens of machines---both video and pinball. We had a few bumps along the way he ironed out just fine. Today, I placed another $800 worth of artwork with him. Look at these incredible Star Trek drop targets he made-(look at the 4:30 minute mark). He also made the small overlay in center covering the usual wear on those numbers. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pfkcwSdXNqM Todd Tuckey from TNT Amusements

Todd, I'm happy that your experiences with Jeff are positive . . . maybe if I was spending the amount of money you are/have I'd get some semblance of customer service. All I wanted were protectors for my FT (see my 7/28/2010 post). Maybe someday Jeff will respond to the little guy.
