Good Morning All,

Does anyone happen to have a Bally Kiss Transformer/Rectifier board in working condition?

Thanks!

Sean

Hi Sean,

I sell the Pinhead rectifier board on Flippers.com that covers all the
early Bally/Stern games including KISS. Other folks sell other rectifier
boards too of course. I particularly like the Pinhead version from the
technician's point of view for ease of installation and clear LED
readouts showing voltages present, and the general overall quality of
the product.

If you don't mind assembling the board yourself, here is a quality deal.
There are not many components, so if you can solder and make sure the
diodes are in the right direction, it is easy.

Not a bad looking kit, seems well thought out. No indicator LEDs though.

One point I raise with all the aftermarket rectifier boards is the need
for some sort of electrical protection shield to help protect the
operator/technician from accidental shocks. The Pinhead board does
include a standoff plastic shield to help avoid the risk of shock, one
of the reasons I carry it.

The original Bally had a slip on plastic safety cover that was very
nice, and was usually missing in short order as technicians tossed them
away. I never liked that practice and teach my staff to keep safety
covers on or replace after working on games.

I wonder if there is a market for those, it would be interesting to
remake...
