Surf N Safari

I have noticed that on some heads of the Surf N Safari game, the camel or whatever it is on the translight is sliding down into the water pond. That camel on some games is a bright green. On others I have seen and on the one I got, he's brown.

Now I am going to pretty much think that some will reply on here and tell me they are using green LED's. I thought the same but if that is the way they are getting a green camel, then how come the green light doesn't bleed over ....?

any help on this would be great..
