Hello to Everyone!

We are placing another order for PDI Optical Non Glare Glass at the
end of next week. From that time, it will take 5 weeks or so to get it
in direct from Germany, then a week to get it to your door. We do not
plan on stocking it, so anyone that is interested in getting some
sheets, now is the time to place your order! Here is new marketing
info and pictures of it on our website:

http://www.pinballdecals.com/NonGlareOpticalGlassPage.html

It makes all the colors and lights SO MUCH more vibrant. Plus, the
fact that you can not tell it is there is truly AMAZING! Expensive,
and VERY HIGH END, but very well worth it – IMO. Prices for it and
ordering info are on the webpage.

Many thanks to all for another great year in the Pinball Hobby! We are
constantly coming out with new products and new product lines, so keep
your eye on our website! Keep Pinball Alive and Fun! =)

Nice looking stuff. Break one of these and you really have a
"FUCK!!!!!" moment. Top it all off, you have to clean up the
glass. Wish I had 20 sheets of this stuff.

Do you or anybody else have this on one/some pins but not all?

I'd consider getting a pane for my favorite game, but I'm wondering if
it ruins you for playing games with normal glass. Is it hard to go back
and forth between the two?

I have it on my BBB and my Stargate. Any idea how to clean prints off

Anybody that’s seen my collection will tell you how fantastic this
glass is. Expensive? Yes. Is it worth it? That’s up to you. I highly
recommend it.

And you won’t find a better guy to deal with than Joey.

Greg: I use isopropyl alcohol in a spay bottle and a microfiber cloth.
Spay on and wipe off.

It doesn't really take away from your other games if you get it. I
have a couple and it looks great. I plan on getting 1 or 2 a year.

Buddy Robinson

P.S. It doesn't look quite as spectacular on the EM's. I switched mine
back to my DMD's.

I don't own any (yet) but from what I've read, this is a coated glass
similar to what's used on eyeglasses. That being said, couldn't you use
eyeglass cleaners/cloths to remove prints?

Hi Buddy. I’m surprised to read your opinion of the glass on the EM
games. I find the playfields on my EM games to “Pop” as they do on the
DMD games etc. I don’t doubt you, just wondering what the difference
might be.

Suggestion to anyone interested in buying one or two sheets. Form a co-
op with your local collectors and move up in quantity. The price beak
at five and ten sheets is substantial, not to mention the change in
shipping cost is improved.

Hi all,

I have some news for you.
PDI optical glass will ship next week from Germany and should be
available in the US
mid April.
I'm in Chicago at the moment with a standard sized sheet of PDI
optical glass and I will try to introduce it to Gary and/or his staff
with my recommendation to use it in limited edition machines in the
future. The answer I can expect is 1 or 0.
If the answer is "0", then I will need to sell the glass asap.
I will be able to tell on Friday about the results and possible days
to meet for purchase is Friday or Saturday.
I'm offering this sheet for $230 USD (promotional).
FYI: My costs to get this glass over here by plane were much higher
than this offer.
Please contact me via Email and send me your phone number if
interested, otherwise I would need to make the glass
unusable if there's no interest from either side.

All the best,

Roman

Hi Roman, I’ll take it if you can add it to my existing order from
Joey and get it shipped to me. I suspect I may be asking for too much
so let me know.

Otherwise someone in Chicago should really snap this up.

Hi,

just a brief update...
Stern kept the sheet. It might be possible, that the glass will be
used in
future limited or collector editions as an option or included in the
machine
at an higher price.
The demand will show.

All the best,

Roman

This definately is a big step
