Anybody know how pachinko is doing in Japan? In the old days like the

There is still a huge arcade scene in Japan.....lots of games
developed strickly for that market.There was a great story in
Gameroom awhile back on the subject.Of course Stern has nothing to do
with it.By the way the animae pinball machine in the video is cooler
looking than any modern Stern...check the speaker panel,
plunger,drops.Even an animator can out design Stern.Sad,Scott

I wanted to find a video of those chinese pinball games from the
Marsaplay thread. So I started googling "chinese pinball" and
"chinese arcade". It came up in one of those searches.

There are. I ran across a distributor for Stern. And I found some
mfgrs of "pin games". A mutual friend who was working in Macao (sp?)
said they are fairly popular there, but mainly for redemption/
gambling.

Depends on which "chick" he was referring to. The girl playing pinball
is VERY young, probably as you said, maybe 16. The singer, Goto Maki,
is almost 25.

Well ... shoot. I have a 20 year old daughter, so every young girl
looks TOOO YOUNG these days. I would have taken Goto Maki for 16 and
the player as 12. Getting old (and having daughters, at least in this
perspective) SUCKS. ;-)
