I have no clue if this is a drop in replacement or not.
When I did a search on Marco for 6502, this came up:

I don't know if that is a replacement.

Ya....there is something odd about that Marco listing.
It says 62C02 at the top of the page. It's probably a typo and they
meant 65C02.
