Hi All,
I've updated the eBay price list at my web site - www.bostonpinball.biz. Be sure to hit the refresh button on your web browser so you get the new version. The list runs through this morning for the past 90 months - successful eBay sales - 38,714 machines sold.
Enjoy,
Dan Stanford

Useful, and deceptive at the same time. These are 'closed' auctions, of
which we have no idea if a transaction happened or not. Shills abound
on eBay, particularly in the pinball sales departments. Nock off 30% at
least on the price and you might have something useful as a real index.
Thanks for assembling this for the noobs. Its definitely useful if
you take off the said overpay on FleeceBay.

I am surprised at the numbers for Medieval Madness.

Hi Bill,

Sorry, the YTD numbers were overflowing the column. I've fixed them now.

Thanks,
Dan

Wow, less machines being sold for more money. Very interesting trend.
Thanks for doing this!

Proof the divergence of lines will occur, and when they do the
correction will be painful for those 'investing' for retirement. As I
have said, and will continue to mantra, the smart money is selling.

Frank, you really think there will be a correction in the market and its time to dump? Why do you feel so? From what I am seeing in the Boston and NE market, people buying them like hotcakes. Whatever the price is on ebay, its sells about 30-40% higher. I seen it first hand and I was shocked. I know other regions (mid-west) the prices are not as high.

After this morning's coffee felt and expressed the birth of BWS's twin
sibling. :) Nether regions will have slight and at times massive
impressionations of muscular fluxuations, however over all the trend is
high and unstainable. The hobby is being destroyed, the games being
manufactured are generally (GaryCo here) are shit titles and shit
quality. New pinball is too expensive, and when people find out the
cost of maintaining a game they decide not to continue collecting. As
well there is a very limited number of people who will buy multiple
games at 7500+ dollars. The hobby is doomed, the industry is doomed,
its not a pretty picture. The top may have already been reached and we
are already on the downside right now and in 6 months the slope will be
steep and heavy loss for those with pins that sat on them to the 'peak'.
The peak is likely already past us in pricing.

I think you mean 'convergence' Frodd. Stop trying to sound smart, you
continue to make yourself look like an idiot.

When I have a really great copy guy like you to do my work for me, why
would I need to improve my spelling and typing skill? Thanks!
