If you want company when you play let me know when you'll be here! If
not the Portland Pinball Map has a San Diego Section and the San Diego
Pinball Club also maintains their list pretty well. (http://
www.meetup.com/sdpinball)
Joltin' Joes downtown (5mins from your hotel) has three pins I
believe, from Area Amusements and there are a couple more in the
immediate area.
There are dozens of location pins all over San Diego so - you really
have a decent choice to choose from including Jim Belsito's MM at
Kearney Mesa Bowl which sits next to a T3 on tourney play and a
Champion Pub to boot.
There is a BBH in Mira Mesa (15 mins away) if you want to play that.
Also, depending on when you'll be here there may be an OC League or
San Diego Club meeting so you could hang out with the locals and enjoy
their pins.
Last and certainly not least, if you like the older games - especially
wood rails - check out the San Diego Pinball Museum in Escondido. You
will need to make arrangements (contact me if you want help) since
it's a private collection but it is well worth the trip (about 45
minutes or so from your hotel) and doesn't cost anything although
donations are appreciated. It's a fabulous tour through the pinball
world of yesteryear and a chance to see titles simply not found very
often anywhere.

Thank you both for the replies!! That Yahoo map is pretty cool - it
not only gives machine names and conditions but also the Op info for
complaining - pretty neat. At the very least I am going to spend some
money at Jolt'n Joes. I am extremely interested in the Pinball
Museum, Ron. I am at the mercy of the conference schedule, though,
and won't know when I can get away until this Sunday. I will have a
car tho, so if you could send the contact info I will try to make an
appointment (I love the old machines).

What?!! MM at KMBowl!!? I'm there.
Thanks - this answers my question earlier about pins in or near
Murrieta since it goes that far north.

It was Out of Order last night - hopefully Jim gets there today or
tomorrow, it played nice when it was working!
This is the same data as that google map (and run by the same people),
though possibly even more update to date. I'm not sure if they are
keeping up with this google map, still. But, with that site, you can
search, and you can browse various regions throughout town.

It appears that you have one of the tackier attractions I have ever
seen near Mission Bay - black light glow in the dark pirate themed
mini golf! We usually play a round of mini golf while at the
conference and I have to say that this one looks awesomely bad.
