I actually checked out these games a few months ago, they were all
soaked with moisture from a poor storage unit facility.
Wow, that would have sucked to make a drive and to see that and not
have it disclosed first!
captkirk
FYI. None of the games have moisture issues. This is just some
typically ignorant RGP post. Never heard, talked to, or met Gman,
are you serious ?
are you forgetting about the garage band I drove to see where you
couldn't see the playfield due to the water and moisture on the
playfield and on the glass. the cabinet was virtually falling apart
due to the moisture that had worked it's way into the cabinet.
the games were located in the back of a storage facility area which
had a large creek running right behind the units and the whole area
was flooded in the back and full of water.
all the games had these issues and the games were all in terrible
shape, you wasted my time and want to make sure that you don't waste
any elses time. you told me my expectations were unrealistic and I
didn't bother to discuss anything and just left as it wasn't worth
wasting any more of my time.
WOW... now that deserves a ...."OH SNAP"
No wait, you shit all over that idea, didn't you?

I will open the units up to anyone here and you show me all the water
damaged pins. In fact I will put my money where my mouth is. You
pick a day, we meet over there, I will bring a camera, we will film
everything, post on flickr or youtube and let rgp decide if they are
all water damaged games.
$500 on whatever the jury decides.
Grover wanted it for $700. I said no. He went home with no pinball
and is apparently spiteful.
Yet, as it never fails here on RGP, the morons would rather beilieve
complete hearsay from a guy that doesn't have 2 nickels to rub
together, than to simply come look for themselves.
Wait, it's not water, it's condensation. In other words, water.
So I need to move all of these pins to make room for my new DUI
scooter.
I would like you RGP morons to buy my moldy pins. You are a bunch of
RGP morons, that's why I post here.
Love,
Bagsy

are you seriously lying once again ? I didn't offer you ANYTHING for
the pin, I had no use for it being completely waterlogged especially
the cabinet. You didn't get to say NO to any offer as I didn't offer
anything for it.
you LIE once again saying you pulled the glass off as you DIDN'T even
have keys for the game after I drove up there 6 hours and you could
see the water and moisture sitting on the playfield as well and not
just on the glass.
can't wait till you store your new motorcycle in that great unit of
yours, it should look pretty rusty in no time at all.
what really ticked me off was, you didn't even apologize and acted
like it was my fault driving 6 hours to look at some beat arse pins.
I think I spent a whopping 3 minutes looking thru your games and left,
which was 2 minutes and 59 seconds too much.
PLEASE post some pics of the Garage Band, you can paypal to this
address.
the games were not flood pins, they were stored in an area that was
full of moisture in the air and all over the outside of the unit
( inches deep in water ). the condensation and moisture was so heavy
in the air that when you wiped your hands on the cabinets, your hands
were soaked with water. with the creek running virtually right under
your unit.
after the pins dry out, I'm sure you could take some average pics to
try and hide what they have been exposed to, however if anyone
inspects the games in person and knows what to look for they will see
what environment the pins were stored in.
once again, thanks for wasting my time and being arrogant about it.
you talked to me like I was some idiot that has never bought a pin
before which was quite amusing.
1. You said you were buying that game for a "friend" of yours. You
said he only wants collector quality stuff(something you didn't
mention til you got there). I told you it was unrealistic to A)Find
almost any Alvin G in immaculate shape because their cabinets were
notoriously bad, & B) If you did find one that was somehow mint it
would cost more than $1000 because it would be extremely rare.
2. I have over 40 pins stored. They are stored upright, wrapped, and
need to be moved to get to anything in the back. You were there for
15 minutes because you were an hour late and i had to get back to the
city. Yet somehow you managed to personally inspect them all for
water damage in 15 minutes. I have LOTR, TSPP, USA Football, CFTBL,
and dozens of other high $ pins in there and I assure you I wouldn't
store them in there if it leaked...
3. There is no way to hide water damage. Especially when I offered to
meet you there, film it, and post it. I am willing to paypal my $500
to any respected CABRGP member(Lloyd, Kim, etc) to hold pending the
outcome. You do the same. Winner take all.
This is either the easiest $500 you will ever make, or you are a
bitter, cheap, lying weasel from Virginia that everyone should beware
of dealing with.
And for everyone wondering why I need to sell pins to make room for a
bike...
1. My biggest client is RevZilla.com
2. I have a piaggio mp3 scooter for the city. Its odd configuration
makes it more bulky to store.
3. I am looking into a BMW 1200gs or a can am spyder (to keep with the
3 wheeled theme) for tours with the guys from work but I would need to
be able to store it somewhere as I live in a condo in center city.
Also I am not looking to sell all my pins or all the pins on the
list. Just enough to make some room in one of the 2 units. I am in
no hurry. Quite honestly I get more for them by just listing a Best
Offer ad on Ebay. It is much easier than dealing with the 80% jackass
rate here on RGP.
The other 20% of you are always welcome to stop by and buy, swap, or
play some pins. Be back in 6 months or so to see if the inmates are
still running the asylum.
