Sorry...I had no intention of slamming the actual victims and felt it
clearly was not was posted that way. If you feel I erred I apologize
for being politically incorrect. Nothing in that post was directed at
the actual victims or the extent of the tragedy.
I think my tongue in cheek humor on the MM issue was quite obvious
given all the excuses everyone has heard from Wayne over the past
three years, and this board has been somewhat devoid of humor lately
due to how much everyone is worried about the worldwide economic
issues. Many people use this board for quick humorous entertainment
to eliminate boredom as well as business purposes and problem solving,
and few use it for a podium on serious political or social issues.
Your not sorry, your just a complete moron! Do you think that linking
such a sensitive thing like 200+ people dieing and 6000 odd homeless
to the MM remake funny?
Yeahhh real funny.
How about I link Sep 11 to something pinball related? NO i wouldn't
even think of such a thing.
You may think that linking anything in OZ to the MM remakes is just
done in jest, however in this case I bet many aussies would not see it
that way.
although very tragic, i saw what was being said and theres no malice
in it... do not judge him/her too harshly...actually wayne has put 10
sets of chrome legs + levelers on ebay all proceeds to victim fund.
truth !
regards and thank you for keeping us in your thoughts (i am not
directly implicated...but one was our head national news anchor for
30+ something years...funny you sort of get used to people being
around eh ! )
=)
I think you're a fuckwit personally.

Hey now, everyone can have a lapse of judgement every now and again. I
wouldn't make this into anything more than what it is.

Have a home video that's trapped on your camera? Want to share it on the
web or on DVD?
Alot of aussies will be very raw about the subject considering there
are still 20 odd fires which are being fought at the moment.
Glad to see Obama offering his support with specialized personel.

I understand that; not saying the original wasn't in bad taste. But it
doesn't make sense to turn a realtively minor lapse into judgement into
something bigger. (We all have bad days now and again.)
The real horror is that the fires were started intentionally, I call
it murder.

Bad taste, perhaps.
But worse part is, I could see Wayne using it as a reason things are
delayed. Let's disregard the fact he never intends to make them anyhow.

Remember his "Well now the Crock Hunter pinball project is in danger!"
whopper when Steve Irwin died?
And they were just getting ready to ship!
Exactly what I mean. He used the tragic death of Steve Irwin to announce
the project of making a Croc Hunter machine was abandoned. Of course, he
was never going to make it and lucky for him he found an "out".
Sorry, but there is nothing you can't joke about.
The lot of you need to get down off those high horses and relax.
I thought the humor was in such a insane and narrow take on the fires.
It would be insane to really be concerned about the fate of a few
nonexistent pinball machines in light of such a horrible tragedy, and
that is funny.
Now maybe we should step back and think of what we may be able to do
to help the victims instead of going full retard over a stupid joke.

I actually started reading this thread expecting that. Or that the
factory had mysteriously been the taget of arson, since there is so
much of that going around.
I really wouldn't put it past Wayne.

You *never* go full retard.
Please, for the love of god, someone jump in here and get their
panties in a wad by the use of the word "retard". It is clearly the
next logical phase in this thread.
Mamushka
We saw that there are area's that are flooded in Australia also on the
news, weird weather. We had a big fire here, but luckily no one died
last summer. A big camp fire left unattended, & led to 10,000 people
getting out of the area. In the past we have seen the skies darken
from forest fires in other provinces.
