Other than the two ramps (which is on a ton of games), I don't see it
being the same or really similar.

Nothing really wrong with that though. Why not use it. He was in a rush
i am sure to come up with a table. Left him more time to add other stuff
i guess?

Because people like to have something to complain about and feel smug.

Especially people that suck at actually playing pinball.

He was in a rush???
He had the most time EVER, almost a year to design AC/DC.

Guess I should have titled it "Has Steve Ritchie lost his touch?"

Not a bad thing but a little disingenuous.

I thought the design philosophy was: Theme then design not Design then
theme.

As little as people would like to admit all playfields are all in a

Look at the AFM playfield nothing great there but it gets much love .

I just dont understand all the bitching some of you do. Get a life
and quit being assholes. Its a pinball machine, im surprised that you
didnt point out that it has flippers, im mean, hey, thats a
similarity.

Your probably the same dumbasses that are on car forums saying things
like this looks just like last years model, its got 4 tires, a
steering wheel and a engine up front. Damn, couldnt they have thought
of something new like a tire in the middle. and the engine on the roof

now who's the asshole? Are girls have the same body parts, but some
are better than others and no they aren't all the same in the dark
either.

Steve's designs are tired. Avatar, AC/DC, Elvis, T2, etc....they are
all his and all look the same. I'm not saying that they aren't great
or fun, but don't try to tell me he took a year to churn out the same
crap.

It's not that Steve or Gomez have lost their touch...they just keep
touching pinball the same way they always have and it's getting really
OLD!

I could shit out a gomez/SR clone. Who couldn't we have about 20
examples of each an they are all the same. Sorry if that is a rough
assement, but it is true. Even the subtle nuances of their more recent
games aren't maximized....it's like they don't even recognize they are
there....pathetic.

I believe you should look to Gary Stern for the same basic fan layout
over and over again. No disrespct toward Steve as I believe he is agreat
guy and pinball designer but Gary has the last word and he always uses
it. Stern games all look basically the same with differnt themes.

That would've been better than your lame original post.

When you want to stir the shit here, you need to offer your opinion
first. Pick a side and make your case, then ask others for opinions.
When you stir the shit just for the sake of stirring the shit (like
you did above), that makes you a troll. HTH
