Ok i have this big ball working for the most part but have one problem
i cant seem to figure out
on the first player score reels if the 0-9 reel cycles thru it trips
the next 0-9 score reel now the next score reel wont advance after the
second score reel cycles thru
example 010 if looking at the reels 099 then 001 if this makes any
sence

thanks Bob

actually i don't quite understand. do you mean that the 100's place
doesn't advance after the 10's place gets past 9?

if that's it, there is a switch on the 10's place reel that closes
when the reel is at 9. In your case it's not closing.

How can i better explain this
if i manully trip the 0-9 relay score reel the number one reel cycles
0-9 then it trips the second score reel to 1 = 10 on the score if your
looking at the reels
now if i do this with the 10-90 relay the second score reel will cycle
0-9 then when it gets back to zero it should trip the third score reel
to make 100
all the other players work this just on player one

hope this helps a little

thanks Bob

since it only happens on the one player, i'm pretty sure i've got it
right then.

there is a switch on the 10-90 relay, which is open, and it's supposed
to close when the reel is on the 9. it's out of adjustment and is
staying open.

this drawing may be a little different from yours but have a look:

the "9th position switch" needs to close when the reel is on "9"

ok the 9th position switch is now making good contact the meter says
so no differnce
i know the coils good it will reset maybe it goes thru the player
stepper because the only wires connecting the two reels are the
commons

Maybe someone else can chime in here, I guess I'm stumped. As far as
I know, the only thing that happens is that when a reel is at 9, the
9th position switch closes which makes both solenoids fire at once the
next time there's a score on that reel.

Check for broken or loose wires on each connection in the circuit.
That would be the score reels switches and on the 00-90 relay. Also,
clean and gap the switches on the 00-90 relay, your problem could be
there. Also, check the connections on the coil that advances the
100's reel. Make sure it is not binding. Can you manually advance the
100's reel?

with no binding
