United Mfg - Serenade pin - What's the Shuffle Switch for?

Scratching my head on this one... On the underside of the playfield
(left front), there's a "shuffle switch"... have no idea what this is
used for on the game... sounds more like something used on ball
bowlers, but this is a pinball!!!

WTF?

Sorry, I mis-read the original post, I thought the switch was on the underside of the cabinet, not the playfield.

Try shuffling the shuffle switch and see what happens.
