Hi, my name is Lorenzo I am one of the co-founders of
Pinnovators.com...Our web site is currently under construction and we
anticipate that it will be ready shortly with online sales to begin
upon its completion.
We have been working for many months on an aftermarket headphone jack
for all Wms/Bally and Sterns from 1990 to current with dollar bill
acceptor coin doors; kits for non dollar bill plate doors are coming
soon. Our kit is well designed and allows for plug and play within a
few short minutes. We are unveiling the product at this Friday's
Allentown show and have a limited number of kits ready for sale.
There are multiple sound boards for Mms/Bally and Stern produced since
1990 and beyond so we will have three different games that you can
experience our product on during the event. Medieval Madness, Theatre
of Magic and Terminator 3 will be in our booth for demonstration.
Attached is a link to our show flyer which provides more details on
this great product. One of the key components is a mute button to shut
off all cabinet speakers during play and our headphone jack is live at
all times. The player can listen and concentrate on his/her play
through the headphones while others continue to listen through cabinet
speakers. However, if the player chooses to utilize the mute button
the cabinet speakers will turn off which allows for enhanced
concentrated play without disturbing others.

Will these only mount on the top bill acceptor plate on a modern Stern
or will they work on the bottom plate as well?
I have a tourney button relocation plate installed on my BSM and the
bottom dummy plate is being used for nothing.

plate will fit into..there were three diff coin doors with dba used
since 1990. one of those doors only had a dba on the top not the
bottom so we designed the plate to custom fit the top hole on all
three styles of doors since each had different mounting hole
locations. we are currently designing two secondary mounting locations
for stern games and wms bally games with out dba holes for mounting.

I'd ha the pleasure of playing a pin with one of these installed. It's
truly a great product. High quality and the sound is phenomenal. Can't
wait to get some installed on my 'keepers'!

point out that you don't merely 'register' a patent. There's a long and
involved application process that includes substantive examination

2-10 years or more to issue, depends on a lot of details, reviews and of
course existing work.

I had a chance to see this at the Allentown show today.
It looks amazingly factory installed, is non-intrusive, and sounds
absolutely freaking INCREDIBLE!!!!!

I look forward to see where the alternate install location is. Maybe
since I have moved my tourney button off of my lockdown bar to the coin
door.....I can now move the headphone jack and controlls from the coin
door to the lockdown bar. ;)
It sounds like a nice product. Not something I would use a lot, but I
can see it being great for others. Something nice to have as an option
and it would make recording sound on pin videos much easier. Running the
sound out of the jack and into a stereo might also be nice.

many. Fortunately, I've worked for a large corporation that has a room
fuill of Lawyers who handle this. I have also looked into the process
for myself while working as a CONsultant. I would definitely take step
one beforeannouncing any product that has the potential of selling
thousands of pieces. Even if I did not go beyond step one, it will
give me a year to decide to pony up more money for legal fees etc.

I tried these in Allentown and they work great and you can really get into
the soundtrack of the game.
In terms of who came up with the initial idea:
Zaccaria had headphone jacks in the front of the cabinet in the 80s. Great
idea. Glad to see someone continued the idea now.

cabinets also had them from day 1. But it is cool to see the retrofit
for machines that didn't have it previously, hope it does well.
