Hi all, It is Nacman....

I Haven't lost interest as some would have thought that's for sure. I
just had an unexpected surprise, my son was born 9 months ago, and this
being my third child, where my other two are 24 and 23 years of age, I
am a bit tired at the end of the day. At 47 years of age, I couldn't be
happier than I am now, and a lot of my time is spent being a father once
again.

Alas, I caused the failure of RGParchive.

I failed to renew my credit card number on file with my DNS provider
(yes, the DNS is not with the Hosting or the domain registrar... I
know...stupid.. but it is a long story from when I switched it being
served from my home servers to one in a data center.)

Anyway, I paid the bill for another year, and I promise to get it
rectified before the next bill is due.

But Frank or whatever your name is, I feel sorry for you. To be so full
of contempt for others only tells me how miserable you are as a human
being. You must not have had a real loving bunch of parents, to be so
mean spirited.

For the record, just in case anyone listens to the nonsense FF spills
out to all of us...

The site is free, (well I pay for it out of my pocket, the DNS and the
Domain name), Hosting is provided by another pinball enthusiast who
happens to have a big pipe and some space on a server. Korn helps me
with the linux stuff, I am just smart enough to be very dangerous with a
linux prompt.

I have no ads, have never had ads... If I had time to redesign the site,
one day I might. I could very well put up ads specifically targeting
Pinball. But don't hold your breath.....except FF...

Lastly, I am still restoring a T2, just working on the Cabinet Decals. I
have been working on those for some time....had to go back to the
drawing board once more after I found someone who will screen print them
for me. I have to convert the image into a format that the machine can
use to make the screens....and for the same reason I have been absent,
it just isn't as important as my newborn son is....

Lastly, I almost died in a head on collision on Dec. 6 of last year on
my way to work. Spent 17 days in hospital, 11 in ICU. But I got out in
time to see my son born on 12/31/11!!!!

Had to sell my TRON LE to pay bills while I was out of work for 5
months.

I am back at work doing what I do and happier than I ever have been! My
son got married and my daughter engaged. I moved my son down to St.
Petersburg where he is stationed in the USCG. You might see him on Coast
Guard Florida ;)

Hope this clarifies everything.

If assholes could fly this place would be an airport.

Enjoy life and the things you like or love and ignore the rest.

It is amazing, this site has become such a huge part of the pinball
community that it is so sorely missed when it goes down. What a
wonderful thing you have done. Your priorities of family should always
come first, and we respect you for that as well. THANKS!

PLEASE! Make it so you don't need to sign in to just read messages.
I often try to read posts from a computer where I dare not enter
passwords...

11 days in ICU: wow, talk about a close call.

Sure hope you've made a full recovery Richard, and congrats on the birth
of your Son...no wonder we haven't heard from you much all year...man,
you've sure had your hands full.

Many thanks for keeping the lights on.

I suspected a temporary tech issue. It happens to the largest companies in the world, so there's no worry when it happens to RGPArchive, certainly when you do so much for so little.

We'll be back, an perhaps a bit more in appreciation of your efforts.

I pity furt. His parents must be so very disappointed in him.

Nacman,

Congratulations on becoming a father again! Also, congrats on the
marriage of your son. Family is the true root of our livelihood. Enjoy
it all to the fullest.

Thanks again for making a second home for some of us here on RGP.

Keep up the great work

Dan,
