Hey All,

I'm thinking about picking up a machine from a vendor not local to me
but off the net, and was wondering if anyone had purchased from them
before and how were their description of the machines versus what was
actually purchased.

The vendor is Automared Services LLC in CT ( www.pinballs.com )

They seem ( Mike Jr. ) really nice but just looking into some feedback
on you guys interaction with them.

Thanks

Ralph

Hi Ralph,

Automated is ok. I have bought many nib from mike and his selection
of pre owned pins are generally very nice. You should be ok.
Congrats on the new pin.

I've had pretty uninspiring interactions with them. They have had machines on their site (and eBay) that I've asked about and they told me that they are sold, but yet they remain listed for weeks.
People seem nice enough, but very business-like. No chit-chat. Have heard some negative stories about them, but nothing personally experienced.

They usually have inventory on some hard-to-find NIB pins, including
the soon-to-be released JJP WOZ, but I wouldn't buy from them without
inspecting the goods personally and picking it up myself, if at all
possible. Do not go there looking for competitive prices though.
Also, the young lady in the front office is always nice and willing to
help, but I don't think that she can't even take a coffeee break w/o
checking with the guy in the back office first. Micro-managed by the
owner to a point of customer exasperation and not very customer-
friendly.

I friend of mine recently purchased a "showroom" machine that was never
purchased or left their business. What he received was a routed turd.
After complaining, they said "opps sorry we sent the wrong machine".
They then refunded the money.

Thanks Guys,

Your replies were greatly appreciated, and I guess other than maybe
buying a NIB unit, I might just pass and look for something a little
closer and cheaper to home. Once again thank you, better to be warned
then to commit to a mistake.
