MN IM opening party

I "unexpectedly" ended up with an IM in the back of my truck this
morning....seriously.

Party at my place this afternoon starting whenever the first guy can
get here and help me unload the damn thing and goes until we've beaten
the thing into submission.

Beer's on me but if you want something to eat, and I'm sure you will
cause it's going to be a loooooooooooong night, bring something for
everyone.

Oh, did I mention there's a catch? Well, there is.....it ain't mine.
It belongs to Jason (mnpinball). The way I see it, he's at work until
6:00 or so and would never, ever dare read the newsgroup during work
hours, so he won't know we're doing this until it's too late.
Needless to say, we need to keep this a secret. He's not coming to
pick it up until tomorrow, so we can easily have it packed back up
before he gets here. We'll just tell him Stern must have sold him a
floor model. Hey, it could happen.

What the hell, the guy lives in East Jesus MN. He won't have a clue.

Sounds great Bryan. I'll be right over. Unfortunately I have a bunch

Not a problem, Matt. I had a double helping of Taco Johns last night
and I might have had a bit of "gas" this morning driving over to get
it so it's going to smell like a fast food joint anyway.

Hey, this is a great idea! And then we can swap some of the parts
from my new Sega Goldeneye onto Jason's IM. Of course, I won't clean
the parts first, but I am sure he will never know!!

OK, Dave, I took your advice and just got off the phone with Beavis.
I told him what better way to review the game than to leave it here
for the party on Sunday. I told him it sounds like everyone invited
can make it. He was planning on picking it up tonight, taking it
home, then coming back for the party on Sunday, without the game of
course. I know he planned on inviting everyone out to his place to
play it but because of the drive, not many would come.

I was playing head games with him and told him he had no choice but to
leave it here. Imagine how pissed everyone would be if they knew it
was here but he took it home. I told him we'd never talk to him
again. Does that make me a bad person?

I'm actually feeling kind of guilty. F' it. I'll get over it. ;-)

Speaking of Jesse, I just got off the phone with him. I've got half a
dozen guys ready to come over tonight. Jesse suggested we take a
Sharpie and write "prototype #1" on the side before we repackage it
for Sunday.

You know you could take the translite out of the IM, put it in an AP, slide
it back in the box, and it'd take him AT LEAST an hour to notice...
