I'm having some issues with my TOM. - When second ball has been captured
for multiball, pin starts multiball sequence on DMD, but doesn't turn trunk
for visible hole.
I've checked optos and 12V, switch matrix seems fine - no errors. Anyone
with same experiences or some clues to which direction one should look.

I don't have this game anymore, but I had nothing but troubles with the
trunk. Typically the plastic opto interrupter would break at the shaft and
keep the trunk from rotating or rotating correctly. If this is the case,
they do make metal opto interrupters.

Could be a few things - if the game nows a switch is not working that deals with the trunk, it will not spin it so you can just collect jackpots by hitting the side. You need to lock three balls to start multiball - the last one being the side of the trunk the other two behind the trunk into the trap door.

I would check
1. opto interrupter - black disc that spins and tells trunk where to stop for each side
2. all switches in subway and trap door area
3. Eddy board in front of the trunk

I've checked those through the systemtests, but will definately investigate
them.

Fault shows up now and then, yesterday I was able to play some first rounds
of multiball, but suddenly the strange behaviour began again.

It is most likely switch issues so i'll go check them out.

Thanks!
