The link gives info on an exhibition at the Ford Gallery at E Michigan
University by my friend David Silverman.

David is an ex-art professor and specialist in ceramic arts. He
currenlty owns a landscape company and landscapes high profile
properties in the DC area like properties of Madeline Albright and her
family (he condescended and did mine, too). He has designed and
displayed indoor Japanese gardens at hotels like the Mayflower in DC.

He is an avid collector, so much so that he built a two story building
complete with elevator. Pins upstairs, shop and paint booth in the
lower floor. He excels in the restoration of woodrails and owns many
never produced games like BBB, Kingpin, and King Kong.

In spite of all his talents and they are truly manifold, he is a
genuinely unassuming man and has a great sense of humor.

If you are in the Michigan area and are a pinball enthuisast, you would
enjoy his lecture and exhibit.

Too cool - I'll be heading there on the 23rd, so I'll miss the lecture,
but I can make the exhibit. Thanx for the heads-up! -JW

I'm nowhere near Michigan, but damn, I love that graphic on the link
you posted. Is that a poster from the exhibit or something? Is there
anyway to get a print of it? That'd look killer in the game room!

Mitch:

I just spoke to David. Apparently the graduate student who prepared
the poster omitted the title "pinball!Pinball!Pinball!" in favor of Hot
Stuff. He said the gallery curator is not happy because in his words
"What does Hot Stuff have to do with pinball?"

My reply was, "Well, a lot of prepubescent boys spent hours staring at
Mata Hari!"

The ads says,"This exhibition of historic and contemporary pinball
machines celebrates the themes, designs and graphics that have made an
indelible impression on American popular consciousness."

If Mata Hari didnt, there is no truth to the statement above.
Anyway, as of yet, no posters have been printed up.
