Hi all,

I recently bought a STTNG and it's a re-import. It's already been
converted to 120v, but I just want to make sure the transformer was
re-wired correctly, but I can't find any info on this.

I've searched the forums and RGP and the only thing I can find are links
to Clay's guides which are no longer available.

I also did a search on Pin Wiki, but turned up nothing.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Chris

The information you need is in the WPC schematics, which are available at
Planetary Pinball, but are not readable.

Here's a picture of it on PinWiki:

Thanks Kerry. I do have the Schematics Book that came with the game. I
don't have the game with me and didn't realize that information was in
there.

Thanks for the link, the picture will help.

To be clear, the WPC schematics are not part of the STTNG manual, they have
to be purchased separately.

Or go to http://www.planetarypinball.com/ -> Williams/Ball -> Browse
Schematics
But, at least for me, the schematics are too fuzzy.

Okay. I don't have them in front of me, but I have two manuals.
Operators, and another that appears to have fold out schematics. I'll
check this weekend. If not, I'll take a look at the stuff online.

I did some more searching today and it seems it's not as difficult as I
thought it was, but I'll double check before I do anything.

Thanks again for the help,

It's not just you. They are too fuzzy to read... :)

The schematics I have show a female connector with 9 pins. For 115VAC
operation this is what it shows:

pin 1: black
pin 2 and 3 jumpered together
pin 4: open
pin 5: open
pin 6: open
pin 7: white
pin 8 and 9 jumpered together

The male side connector, that is factory wired to the primary of the
transformer has the following wire colors:

pin 1: black
pin 2: black
pin 3: white/black
pin 4: white/brown
pin 5: white/brown
pin 6: brown
pin 7: white/orange
pin 8: white/orange
pin 9: orange

From this you should be able to determine what pin is which.
