Decals and a playfield will run you a $1,000, figure an additional
$700 for misc. parts, so at $4,000 you will own it for $5,700 before
you even start working on it. Take $6000 add a little patience, you
can land an MB already done with a new playfield and decals. I can
tell you ths, real bitch to get over $6,000 for an MB right now. Let
the Holidays pass and renew your search closer to February.

I would agree with Cayle, somewhere in the $3K to $3.5K range seems
right if it isn't totally trashed.

$3100-3500 sounds about right. If I would have quoted that first,
assclown here would have thought that was insanely low. Obviously
he's shitting his pants because he paid to much for his games and
screwed, now that the market has dropped and his "investment" isn't
holding as much as he thought. Hoping to overquote pin prices to up
the market again. Nice try chump.

If I were buying that from a OP I wouldn't offer any more than $
1500.00, once they are no longer earning money they could care less
about how much they are worth after being restored .
Don't laugh, I have seen MMs, & MBs sell for less than 1200.00 from
OPs .

i picked two up from a operator, both had bad leg side art wear. one
had bad display and pf wear at drack trac, other had no pf wear but
two inserts were missing there decals. 2700 and 2450 i paid each. hope
that helps...i know of a person willing to pay 4k for a nice one. last
few real ones completed on ebay never sold at 4500 and 4300 they both
finished with zero bids. but that was a few months ago and pins have
gone up since then...dont listen to neo...look at the post i did for
"a" list pins u will see what i have come up with here in new england

Well for fully restored you are looking at $5500-$6000 or so nowadays.
But a beat pin from an op offer a low amount maybe $2500 or so, and
$3000 at best.
I have to admit, Neo seems on to something. During these price check
posts some people really try to inflate prices. Maybe they did pay
too much for pins in the past, or maybe they are all pin flippers who
rely on high prices to get by? Either way, this is not 2006 anymore.
You can't just throw out absurdly high prices and catch suckers to buy
your pins. People are actually thinking before they spend now.
I don't know, I'd realy suggest ignoring the really high quotes when
it comes to asking for prices here.
Everybody has an agenda so if the price quote seems high, they most
likely have their own interests in mind and not yours.

I tried to buy the MB pin from Canobie Lake Park owners, my wife is
friends with their families, they wouldn't sell it or actually any of
the pins...owner has them at every family members houses in storage I
guess, but, alas, I digress. MB in today's market won't sell for
higher than $5-$5500 range, at least not the one's I've been
watching; but no shortage of 'flippers' trying to buy the wrecked
one's in hope of slapping on decals and turning a $2-2500 profit...
2005-2006 is gone baby!! If you are buying for collection to play, I
would hit Op with $2500 to start, not higher than $3000 as it sounds
like it needs a few big ticket items...If you put $1500 to $1800 into
it, you would be within market tolerances, but on the high end if you
paid $3k for it initially...Now don't get me started on Safe Cracker
pins, right Neo?! ;)

cause they can flip them for 4k instead and make more...why doesnt
someone selll me a lotr for 1900 same reason thats why i dont ask for
one at 1900 cause i know no person will sell it that low

Common sense, if the high end restored MB pins in flawless condition
can't fetch $6-$7000 then an off route OP MB is not worth $4000. I
would agree that 2005-2006 pricing is done and that most buyers have
sharpened their pencil. In fact, most collectors already have an MB,
you can find this tiltle in every serious collection, so the I have to
have it market is already fulfilled.
