I'm looking at a possible game to buy
with normal wear...
I'm thinking about 1500?

Are all the displays good? A new set is about $250 and up.

The main thing to look for with Bally Rolling Stones is the backglass. They were more susceptible than most to flaking and peeling. It's very rare to find one that isn't shaky.

Finding a decent replacement backglass can be challenging to say the least due to the fact they have never been officially reproduced because of the obvious 3rd party licensing issues and the relatively low production numbers for the machine.

It's an awesome piece of rock memorabilia though. A worthy addition to any serious collection (especially if you like the Stones). I wouldn't even start to think about selling mine for less than $4,000 (and even then I wouldn't sell it).

I restored my Rolling Stones several years ago. Restored and clear coated the playfield, re-stenciled the cabinet, Was lucky and found a NOS backg lass. I wouldn't take less than $5000 for mine. In the pictures, it shows the old Back Glass that the paint was starting to lift. Glad I found the NOS one.

it's not an easy game to sell unless priced nice.
i had one about 6 months ago. it's was respectable
condition. Fully working, all boards serviced.
backglass has trying to peel a bit on
the bottom edge, but arrested it with some mylar
(you can't use triple thick on this glass.) The
playfield had wear, but i touched it up with
water slide decals and a light clear coat. it looked
awesome and unworn. had it on Craigslist for what
seemed like forever for $1200. Eventually someone
offered $900 and i took it.

Those who own them always think they are worth more.

For the condition you are talking about, $1500 is in the ball park.

I'm bringing one to Pintastic show in July that will be for sale in the freeplay area.
