Just buy some acetone(clear plastic sheets) from an art supply store. Make
tracings for each color by taping to your existing artwork and marking with
a extra fine sharpie. Computer match the paint. Tape the acetone over some
poster board(aval at Office Depot/Walmart) and cut out your poster board
stencils with an X-Acto knife. Paint your pinball with the base color. Wait
3-5 days(more is better) for curing. Then cover your entire Pinball side
with masking tape. Place the poster board cutouts(for the first color) on
top, gently trace the first color pattern onto the masking tape. Use your
X-Acto knife(light pressure) to trim out the masking tape pattern for one
color. Peel back and paint, spray gun perfered. Let cure for a minimum of
3 -5 days. Recover(with masking tape) the painted areas and repeat the
cutout/painting process for each color. A long laborious process, but if
you have patience, it will come out very nice. The most important thing is
to let the paint cure, its tempting as hell to wait a day or two. Wait
longer and the tape won't pull off your paint. Also try to use the new 3M
extra low adhesive tape, and oil based paints are perferable to water based,
despite what the paint guy at home depot says. Also lay the cab on its side
so surface is horizontal. More lighter coats are preferable to heavier fewer
coats. Take your time.
Good Luck.
