Just wondering if it is necessary to put mylar pieces over a clearcoated
playfield in areas where a ball drops in from a ramp etc..?

My Creech has two places it is fitted (between either out lane and the
slings - below the wireform and ramp). Wondering if/when I clear this
should be recreated?

If you don't want the playfield to "ghost", put the mylar down in ball
drops.

WMS did this on several Diamond Plated PFs (in high wear areas) - such
as White Water (between the Boulder Garden Pop Bumpers) and The Addams
Family (between the Pop Bumpers).

Mylar doesn't always protect against this unfortunately. That's why I'm
not much of a fan for doing clearcoats anymore. Three was enough.

Do it for sure and make sure flex additive is added on your clearcoat. That
should help stop the ghosting.
