Beginner LW3 questions

Hello all. I am a relatively new member here and a new game owner. We
bought a LW3 game from a seller locally, just before Christmas. I
have 2 really dumb questions.....when you hit "start", how to you
select multi-players? It seems that I cannot figure it out, and when
trying to get 3 player, I get 4, and so on. Can someone please
explain, in detail, how to do this properly? Also, when you get to
the end of the game, and get a 'match", what is supposed to happen? I
hear a "thump" the playing field, but thats about it.

Hit start once one player. Hit start twice two players. hit start
three times three players. Hit start four times have a guess?
Question two, if you get a match then you win a free game. Last two
digits of your score MATCH the two digits on the display, Thump is
probably your wife knocking on the upstairs floor.

Hi MIke...

Congrats on your purchase!! assuming it is set on fre play, all you
have to do is push the start button for each additional player....and when
you get a match, that means you matched the last one or two digits of your
score to what the game displays. The thump you hear is the machine giving
you a replay reward for matching....

plenty of people willing to help out here....

Welcome to the hobby Mike. I consider LW3 to be a great beginner's
machine. I enjoy mine a lot. If you do not have an operating manual
you can download one from the Internet PinBall Database, www.ipdb.org.
The manual will provide instructions on how to make all of the
adjustments on the machine including difficulty settings, free play,
balls per game, match and match percentage, and others. There are a
lot of great people on this site that will help you out. Be warned
however this is an insanely addictive hobby. One pin ultimately leads
to a two, then three. If you are like most of us it won't be long
before you have a house full of the things.
