it usually means a person has been pondering about a certain question
and are getting fed up with said question as they have no answer as of
yet.

pretty simple to figure out.

i mean, you never see someone type "how are you????"

when question marks are used in plural form, its usually in a question
such as:

"what the hell is going on with this pin, ive tried this and that, now
what????"

any other questions you need answered? (see, one question mark as its
not an uptight question)

simple dude, simple!

I think I finally get those words now...

First of all they were stupid enough to read, Second of all, evern
stupider enough to reply!

Don't like a thread pass on by...

Oh but it's so much work to sort through all these bullshit posts...

Ok then quite reading this crap and get back to doing your job then!

I figure the more question marks, the more confused the questioner.

When multiple exclamation marks are used to express anger, more
implies the level of anger.

If someone uses multiple pairs parenthesis, the are probably talking
to a compiler.

IMHO people that post about other people and question their motives are
often projectionists, and I don't mean that type in a theatre (unless
its one operated and owned by the OP in their own mind's eye).

And the OP Shylock is practicing psych 101 kids, learn and lead by
example. Just say no to OPs like this one.

Respect for grammar, punctuation and spelling in the English language, especially on the internet, is virtually nonexistent.

How many times have we seen the use of "etc." in a string (etc., etc., etc.), which is wholly redundant?

The same is true of the common Latin phrase, often utilized in American law: "et al." The phrase means "and others." Yet, the phrase is frequently written incorrectly as "et als." One would think that professionals, with graduate degrees, would get it right. Alas, they typically do not.

Extra question marks are the mark of a questionable intellect, at least with respect to writing acumen.

Don't even get me started on how many English-speaking adults cannot identify the difference between "you're" and "your" nor between "too" and "to." Rant over.
