Long time lurker, infrequent poster. I'm more active at KLOV.

I am soon looking for a repro KISS playfield. Doing a restoration for
myself and my original is blown out. I'd like to find an IPB repro
and do a full playfield swap.

I'd consider a 2nd..just let me know if you have one for sale. Thanks
for reading,

Joey

Carl,

IPB had them at PPE last October, they may still have some in stock.
Might want to give them a ring!

A year or 2 ago, I attempted to buy from IPB. I couldn't find the pf
on the website, couldn't get a hold of them via phone, then went
through an email exchange that went nowhere, as I was told they only
had 2nds, what was wrong with them, etc.. I may try again, but also
thought I might find a fellow collector that wanted to unload one.
Always sounded like they were easy to buy at the shows, but I've not
been able to go to one.

Thanks for the tip though! That widowsweb or something on Ebay
frequently had them listed over the last couple of years, but none
lately. I guess he sold his stash!

When IPB released the Kiss playfields I bought eight of them. Of the
original eight playfields, three were severely warped (too warped for me
to use). I returned the warped ones and they replaced them but I imagine
that they were stuck with several warped playfields. The IPB Eight Ball
Deluxe playfields were the same way and I had to return a few of them
for being too warped for my liking too.

I only have one Kiss left now (the best one of the lot) or I'd sell you
one. I sold the last one I had extra on eBay a year or two ago along
with a new backglass as a matching set.

Keep looking and you'll find one eventually but make sure to ask or
check for flatness. I would rather have one with a minor cosmetic flaw
in the artwork than a warped one with perfect artwork.

Thanks for the heads up. I was aware there were a lot of seconds
floating around, but not about the warpage. Yikes! This project has
been on the backburner for going on 10yrs, so I'll keep looking.
Thanks!
