DMD display issues (ram data error)

My Addams Family DMD is having some issues.

I've rebuilt the high voltage section, pluged and unpluged the ribbon cable
numerous times. I've socketed chip U9 and then replaced it with two
different new chips but these errors do not go away or seem to change. What
to check next???

I had problems with a Williams machine display out-gassing-like
issues... I replaced the DMD, but the problem persisted. I then
replaced the display board with a new Rotten-dog display from Mad
Amusements, and the problem was solved! I think it was around $89...
