Has anyone done an original design, or even a retheme with rules for a
game based on some God Theme, biblical story telling? Maybe the
community could use a little Jesus themed pinball in their life?
The Church of Pinball maybe can help, or is that just by name and not
function?

I think it is called The Church of the Silverball. I hope that helps.

Ask, and it shall be given you. Seek, and you shall find.

Religious collage pinball art at its best. The three walkman tape decks
playing continous noise is not a lot different than what is done today
to brain wash the masses into submission. Wonderful find!

I agree. I would love to have that machine. Mebbe purtify it even more with some mini Jesus plastic toys to crucify on the playfield.

Maybe a straight up anti-god theme, not a daemonic theme per se, but one
that is wholly based on a notion all deities are toys and being hit
w/heavy shiny balls the size of a head at high speed to set modes is
good (tm).

This would be a great idea. If just 1% of the churches got one for the youth groups to play the sales would be well over 100,000 unit. I have been working on the idea that a pinball can be a teaching tool. Lets say you wanted to teach the idea of grace. You could put features into the game that would show forgiviness. This could work with other biblical teachings such as humility, truth,or how sin separates us from God. It could be done and I think you could make it a very family friendly machine. I would love to work on this further given the chance.

Be sure to read what it says below the up-post that's between the

I would love to see your research that shows 1 percent of churches
would be willing to spend $3,500-$6000 on a pinball machine.

Much like anything organized and shilled to the public, there is no
research. Its about getting followers, and opinions blend
oh-so-conveniently into reality for those not willing to think, let
alone for themselves (and not the tooler to the public.)

There was a Flying Nun bagatelle made in the late '60's. It had two "flippers" that were operated by knobs (actually, dials) at the pivot points. Don't remember Carlos Raimerez on the graphics, only Sister Bertrille.

Its The Church of the Silver Ball. :-)
Its non-denominational, although if i had to pick id say we lean towards Gottlieb. lol.

The name came from a neighbour complaining about another neighbour opening a temple. i said, hey, its a free world, we re a church too! The name stuck.
Mass is friday night 8pm. Bring a bag of chips or a case of pop.

and incase you had not guessed, the name is tongue-in-cheek, we are NOT religious.

The game looks like an abortion of biblical proportions.
