Bill Dillon and I had a deal for an Iron Man pinball, including free
delivery. I lost my delivery free delivery source. I was not trying to
squeeze more money out of you. You use this as a poor excuse.
When I could not get the game to you for free, I tried to find another
source, and even offered to meet you halfway, provided you'd pay for
gas. The next day, you called and told me you found a machine locally
for less, how you did, I do not know. What I was selling had a shaker
motor, high end LED kit, and subwoofer installed already, and I was
offering it at my break-even price. Once you said you found another
game, it is safe to assume you didn't want mine anymore?
As far as me showing up to the auction, once I was told you found
another game, why should I bother to haul mine to the auction with no
buyer?
As far as Bill Morrison, I'm sorry for selling a nice Embryon with NOS
backglass to you at a loss to me. I should have sold it to the first
person who contacted me from California, but instead, I sold it to you
because you were supposed to be a good person. This is not the case,
however, especially after hearing from several others who dealt with
you. I never realized what a real asshole you are! After selling at a
loss to keep the game somewhat local, and to sell to someone who I
thought would be a friend, this is what I get? All you serve to do is
piss people off. Bill Dillon and I parted ways, neither of us happy.
He no longer wanted what I was selling, so I was free of the burden of
showing up with it at auction. It was a last minute decision to go to
the auction, and since Bill Dillon no longer wanted the game, and said
he'd already bought another one, why the f*ck would I call him and
tell him I'm going, and ask if he still wanted it? When someone says
they've found another machine, that means they no longer want yours.
Was I still obligated to bring it? F*ck no!
Oh, and by the way, I'm not a bad seller...I never sold Bill Dillon
the f*cking game!
USE CAUTION WHEN SELLING TO EITHER OF THESE PEOPLE!
So....You still have the IM?
Yes. =(
qbert-wpc is a lying douche-bag.
Here's all you need to know about the transaction that magically
failed between qbert-wpc and two purchasers of his machine:
Bill Dillon is an excellent buyer and seller!
These are 4200.00 Shipped to your door. 4051.00 would be a good price
for this machine.
That is an opinion. $4200 shipped is for a NIB IM. $4051 was for a used
unit w/o shipping.
The eBay price of $4051 was not the end price, it would have cost him
$4500 to buy that machine after shipping it.
Same goes for the other gentleman who was involved in this machine. They
agreed on a price shipped and the seller balked and backed out.
Shame on him.
-JD-
Bill Morrison never called you a derogatory name but you somehow want
to call
him an asshole?
One finger pointing "asshole" at him...three fingers pointing back at
you.....
DR

with the not great pinball
an my buddy agred with me
i fell beter tellin that storey
This discussion is dead.
You walked away from the ordeal without learning ANY of the valuable
lessons it provided.
You're dissing people for reasons that don't even make sense.
You keep avoiding any sort of public apology for anything you did.
And the only one that looks bad..... is you.
Bill Stahly
I have known Bill M for years and would not agree with qbert's assessment.
Based on this entire incident, I would avoid qbert.

Fuck
F*ck
see. : (
going to go wash my eyes out now.
I resent the topic of your post.
Neither Bill Morrison nor I are "assholes".
What anyone that I buy a game from or sell a game to can expect is
that if they don't honor their word or jerk me around for more money I
will share my experience with the world.
You would do well to remember an old cliche' If you have a great
experience you will tell all of your friends.
If you have a bad experience you will tell everyone you can possibly
reach.
As I explained to you during our first conversation, my job has me
slammed and traveling at least 3 days a week.
I probably received 40 phone calls on Tuesday between appointments and
conference calls and I do not return calls to numbers I do not
recognize or that don't leave a message.
You didn't leave a message of any kind.
You would understand after a couple of 60 hour weeks.
Bill Morrison was only trying to help you but I don't believe you will
ever get that.
Have you noticed bashing Bill isn't working for you?
Like I said in my post, you owe Bill an apology...not me.
Bill is a great guy and has been an asset to this hobby from about the
time you were in diapers.
Finally, and I promise everyone on RGP that this is my LAST response
(here is your chance to call me more names and insults with out any
response from me)
FACT: We had a deal for $4300 for your modded IM that included
delivery to the DFW Auction
FACT: You called and told me that the person transporting the IM was
no longer available
FACT: You thought it was funny when I told you I just spent 2 hours
sweating my butt off moving 5 machines 13" each on my back
FACT: You could not locate an alternative transport
FACT: I offered (not you) to meet you halfway (8 hours round trip)
FACT: You told me that I would have to pay for your gas
FACT: I asked you think about how you could get the IM to Dallas and
keep you original agreement and that I would sleep on it and cll you
the next day
FACT: I called you the next day and told you I was not going to meet
you half way or pay for your gas and asked you if you intended to keep
our original agreement
FACT: You told me no you were not going to transport the IM to Dallas.
FACT: I said OK I was going to proceed with a local deal that turned
out to be less expensive
FACT: After you told me you were not going to honor our original deal
I contacted Steve Nodseth (same person you bought it from) and told
him I would buy his IM
FACT: You showed up at the auction the next day and Bill Morrison
asked you what was up.
FACT: You told Bill you needed money for a NoFear and Bill called BS
FACT: when Bill asked you if ever wanted to sell me the IM in the
first place you had a big smirk on your face and said nothing
FACT: Based on your disposition and previous deal on ebay I waited a
day to think about it and decided to post a "Bad Seller Alert" so
people considering doing business with you would have some indication
of your integrity (or lack of it)
FACT: Everything else is BS!
The two questions I have for you is:
1. Why was a trip to the DFW so easy to make "at the last minute" and
not even a consideration when I asked you on Thursday or Friday
morning?
2. If you weren't trying to squeeze me for more money, why is the
money that you need to get out of the NoFear different than the $4300
I was going to pay you for the IM?
I will help you with the answer to number 2, because thought I
would pay you more and didn't think I would find a local deal.
The fact that you just graduated from high school probably explains
much of this but isn't a justification for any of it.
If you haven't figured this out yet, this isn't going well for you in
general and every time you respond you look worse.
Anyone reading this post will know exactly what kind of person I am
and exactly what to expect when dealing with me.
That is exactly the way I want it.
Now you go ahead and bash away, as promised I am not going to spend
another minute responding to this topic.
I do appreciate the several people who contacted me with their
experience and support.
I have made several new friends.
Bill
bump for evening rgp boys
Seems like Qbert dropped the ball on two fronts here. He should have
just bit the bullet and not whined about the original eBay sell. Once
that "fell through", he definitely should have delivered the pin,
without excuses, at the original price stated. Part of being a good
seller means that when things get inconvenient for you that you need
to learn to step up and deal with it. Some days I sell parts at a
price lower than what I had hoped or shipping comes out to be more
than I anticipated. It's just not worth the bad karma to kill a deal
or ask for more money after I already agreed to a price with a buyer.
I'm sure a couple of apologies could have killed this before it turned
into two angry threads.
"Grammer" police, eh? Kelsey will be so relieved someone's watching
out for him. ;)
Why are you bringing this back up? You're just as wrong as you were the
first go-round.
Bill M. and Bill D. are both good guys and I wouldn't hesitate doing
business with either.
-Craig
I lurk around on here but rarely do I actually post.
I have been collecting pins for my family for 9 years now.
Here's my 2 cents worth and all I will say on this topic.
I have read both posts regarding this transaction.
I know Kevin through many conversations with him over the years at the
auction and at the TPF every year.
I have always found him to be a good, nice guy .. That said, I have
never done a deal with him so I can not speak in regards to him as a
seller but it would seem to me, he was wrong in this case. Just my
opinion though ... I will not sling mud/insults/anything else.
I met Bill Dillon at one of the Dallas area parties and even played a
couple of pinball games with him and Kim K at one of the recent
parties. Again, I think he is a good guy. In this case, I think he was
in the right. I have never done a deal with him so I can not speak in
regards to him as a buyer, but I know him to be a good person.
It's unfortunate when disputes happen and I hate seeing this one
because I know both of the parties involved.
As far as Bill Morrison's involvement in all of this, I have known
Bill M. for years and onlhy have GOOD things to say about him. In
fact, my 'air conditioned' garage arcade that I have was originally
his idea. He gave me the idea in a discussion that we had at one of
Don M.'s parties a few years back. I can't believe that anyone think
Bill is rude, mean, or a bad guy. I would completely disagree. I
probably wouldn't have even posted regarding the original transaction
today, except for the fact that I can't believe that anyone would say
anything bad about Bill M, especially when he wasn't involved in this
deal other than to help get the parties together. Sounds to me like he
was trying to be helpful.
Again, just my 2 cents worth on this whole mess.

LMAO!!
