a dead end because of the mirroring on the backglass. The art is there
& what I need done is to change the mirror to light grey (shade) so
the printer can change the setting on the color span so it looks like
chrome. I like the look, & want to see what the end result will be.
Steve Young would then say yes or no to this result.

The process I want to use is color on clear film, translucent white
film, & brilliant chrome film. The tricking out for mirror needs to be
done on another secrete project. Which should be easy for someone in
the know.

I think that looks respectable...
Better that than not having one at all..
Keep up the good work and hopefully all the planets aline and you guys
see this through...

Hopyefully Steve will say yes, as I think it looks great. Even if it
was mediocre(its not), its something there instead of a white or off
white board with lamps or a half peeled glass. Killer job.

I might call in a favour ( another expert) since no one seems
interested in helping out, except Scott. So I will give it another 24
hours. Like I have said previously that tricking out the chrome might
be cost effective as compared to doing mirror glasses.

I'm ok with the tricked out chrome look. I am interested in Firepower
repros but don't want to bankrupt myself to buy the screened glass
ones. This is a great way to increase the number of restored pinball
machines and I encourage you to continue to pursue this. The pinball
parts aftermarket manufacturers and sellers should also be supporting
($ponsoring) this effort as they will benefit especially. RGP is
probably one of the most active groups that I participate in. There
are many pinball machines waiting for backglasses or have cruddy ones
that are not being restored (and restoration parts being ordered) and
enjoyed as a result. I have a few myself that I would immediately
begin to restore. CPR has helped this cause and they can't pump out
PF titles and plastics fast enough. I'm excited because the tools and
technology are becoming readily available to do small runs at a
reasonable price. You are sooooo close. Don't give up yet. Having
all of the main pieces to be able to rebuild and restore many more
different classic pinball machines using modern (and much more
reliable) boards and parts is almost a reality. And I can't see how
that can't be good for everyone.
