The best Wargames Show of the year, with over 30 trade stands and a large
number of display and participation games, all set amongst the exhibits of
the Tank Museum.


There are a number of events happening throughout the weekend, details of
some of are given below.

Admission Prices and Discounts
Admission to Battlegroup 2003 is included in the Tank Museum's standard
ticket price of £7.50. Concessions are available for children and families,
for details follow this link to the Tank Museum's website.
Until the end of May, advanced tickets are available directly from Richard
Harris in books of four at £24, a saving of £6.


Saturday Night Pig Roast Party
Following on from the success of last year, we will be holding another
Saturday Night Pig Roast and BBQ in the camping area of the Museum.
There will be a number of items available including salad and dessert as
well as an 'eat as much as you like' ticket at £9 for those with a big
appetite! Bar prices at £2 a pint. Start time 1700 Hrs 'till late including
a quiz and prize giving during the evening.

Painting Competition
Senior and junior competitions will be held throughout the weekend with
categories including Single figure, Group, Vehicle and Wargames Unit.
Displays
There will be a number of displays during the weekend, including:

American Civil War living history
Second World War veterans with a display of authentic equipments
and AFV's on the move.

Lectures
David Fletcher and others will be giving lectures on Saturday and Sunday on
a number of diverse topics. They will last approximately 1hr each and are
free to anyone wishing to attend

This year the show is being held inside the Tank Museum among the exhibits.
This first class venue offers something for every wargamer, modelmaker and

How to find us . . .

British Rail (from London) Waterloo/Weymouth Line to Wool. The museum is a
short taxi ride from the station.

from London & the South East -
M3/M27/A31 Bere Regis/Bovington

from Exeter & the South West -
A35 Dorchester/A352 to Wool

from Central England -
A354 Blandford/Bovington

The Museum is clearly signposted from Dorchester, Blandford, Poole, Bere
Regis & Wool.
