I went and bought the new eldar battle force boxed set but missed out on the
new eldar codex. GW Australia still dont have any codexes (rumour has it no
one in Australia has any in stock).

Anyway, I am wanting to play Ulthwe craftworld, when looking at painting
examples on the guardian battle squad box it seems like they have changed
the colour of the helmets for Ulthwe from yellow to bone, is this so? What
are the official colours for Ulthwe in the codex?

I have already painted a Vyper and a Falcon (chasis black, weapons bone) and
will leave the weapons bone as they look great, but when it comes time to
paint some helmets what colour do I use?

thanks in advance

Honestly, paint them what you want. They are your army, if you feel that
yellow is the more appropriate color, use it, don't feel limited by an
"official" paint scheme.

Black, with a contrasting color. In V2, the contrast was a bright
Yellow (and GW was fond of adding RT-Eldar stripey helmet patterns). In
V3, which is more muted, a Pale Yellow (or Bone) is being used.

Agree. They're your minis. That said, it's perfectly fine to split the
difference with a pale Yellow. This would allow your army to look good
with both V2 and V3-style models.

I mean, heck, V2 used Gold weapons, and you've already deviated to Bone
weapons.

What rumours would these be? Both GW Melbourne and every independent
retailer I've been in have bucketloads of the eldar codex on the
shelves and have had for weeks.

To mail me, you will need to remove one of the .au's from my address.
If you can't figure out which one, I probably don't want to hear from you.

So, GW have lied to me - not surprising. Both GW and an independant
retailer up here in Brisbane told me Australia had none.
Considering the present state of roleplaying and wargaming here in the
sunshine state though it doesnt surprise me that we are being short
supplied.

I don't think so. There are a heap around in Sydney, the local GW has about
a dozen in stock.

Still yellow I think.

If you wanted to differentiate your squads you could use yellow or bone, and
then your vehicles could support squads with the same helmet colour...
