I ran across this on Ebay - there's no way I can justify for myself the
price tag on this, but I did think it was a damn impressive piece of
home-build work and thought folks might like to take a look for
inspiration.

There are some links to similar projects by the same builder.

*Yes, he's even got his own Youtube video of the thing.* The video does
do a nice job of showing the scale of the thing next to some Chaos
Spacey Mariens. The designer is Japanese and doesn't speak English, so
the Ebay page was done with some translation software and is amusing in
parts.

I think we should take up a collection and fly to Japan and kidnap
or clone this guy! I volunteer my basement as the holding cell /
workshop where we <ahem> press-gang err.. entice this guy to labor on
our behalf.

Hmmm... A risky operation, to be sure. But it would be use of our
collective powers for Awesome!

Frankly they should be hiring this dude to crank out some Orky
designs for them at the very least.

Do you fight for good or for AWESOME?

> "Tank shock"? In my day, tanks counted infantry as "rough terrain".

We always referred to it as "High Impact Parking" or 'just plain
fun'. (Well, maybe not so much for the infantry.)

I did know a tanker who was stationed over in Germany for a number
of years. He was telling me about the time he made a really unfortunate
discovery. They were out on manuvers in the field and had been running
some exercises at night. Next morning his crew chief tells him to
powerwash the tracks to get the accumulated mud and debris out of them.
He's washing them when he finds some shreds of cloth sticking out of the
tracks. He tells his chief, and the chief is like "So, just get a knife
and cut them out". He had to explain "No Sir, they're shreds of a
sleeping bag, and I'm fairly certain that the owner is still in it."
Some unfortunate GI had indeed been sleeping in the wrong place at the
wrong and ended up as 'track jam'. He went from 'dead tired' to just
plain dead. The crew had no idea when or where exactly they'd even hit
this guy as they obviously never felt, nor heard a thing.

Followed this build and availed of Babelfish to get the lowdown on this
thing a while back. Truly a masterpiece... this guy is very talented.

Good ol' Engrish. Is very happy time to make the understanding known.

I love the 'Engrish' web site. It's quite frankly some of the
unintentionally funny stuff I've ever read.

Pffffttt! Logic is so not the orky way.

Maka - It is why we yell cheese when somebody wants to
field ork Trukks for their genestealers.

Kurt - Trukks are a bit much, but you would think that Genestealers
should be allowed to wear Power Armour, they kill enough marines to
be able to make suits with extra arms.

Don't forget to give it a jump pack :)
