Henry Zou wrote 3 books for BL and then got fired when it turned out he'd
copied chunks of them from other books.

I didn't know that.

What?!? If he copied stuff out of other BL books and put it into the
books he submitted to BL? WOW! That's both bold thievery and a
commentary on the intelligence of the readers. "They'll never notice -
they're not that smart." Yowza! If he simply plagiarized stuff from
other books that weren't part of BL, that's still pretty lame. If
that's the case I'm guessing he just figured there wouldn't be enough
readership overlap to worry about getting caught. Sad either way.

Yeah, I hate it when a worthless thread degenerates into a semi-useful
discussion. Never again!

He plagiarised a book called "House to House" which is a memoir of the Iraq
War.

And got caught. Ouchie! That's a 'RGE' (Resumee Generating Event) or
a CAM (Career Altering Move). Not the swiftest. But he certainly
wasn't the first and won't be the last.

If I saw a unit of models hit the table at a points
cost of 40-45 points each (with 1 measly wound),
I'd be on them like Nurgle needs a breath mint.

News to me.

I have the Bastion Wars books and haven't gotten to them yet. Reading "Brothers of the Snake" right now and I just finished "Valedor" last week.
