Hi,

What is the exact rule for the Lucky Charm
in the english Mordheim rulebook?
It stops the first "hit" or the first "wound"?

Thanks

Although the text says it stops the first *hit*, we play that it stops the
first wound, since a hit doesn't necessarily wound.

I think the rulebook is right - that it stops the first *hit*. The fact
that a hit doesn't necessarily wound is why lucky charms are relatively
inexpensive.

and thus increasing the effectiveness of the item. play it as it negates the
*hit* like it says. if it was the first wound it would be worth a lot more
gc.

From a recent post...

Although the text says it stops the first *hit*, we play that it stops the
first wound, since a hit doesn't necessarily wound.

----->No! That makes the item a bit more valuable. It's a "lucky charm", not a ward!!! It should
save the first "hit" whether the hit wounds or not.

EXACTLY the reason holy relics are so cheap
and Cathayan robes are so expensive. Your
leader will make most rolls he has to anyway,
so to stop the first roll is not that awesome. To
stop the first FAILURE is much more useful.

That's exactly what i thought, for 10gc it shouldn't stop
a wound but just a hit.
