RGMW Code Key (compiled by L.J Stuart). Here's you chance to show off
how much of a fanboy/whiner/etc you are.
Similar to the Geek Code, all the same non-char symbols apply in the
same way. Lets have every .sig with the RGMW code block!
@ - varying trait i.e., WH--@

> - wannabe. i.e., FAQ++>+++
$ - getting paid for it! i.e., FAQ (how!?)
? - unsure about said topic. i.e., GM?
! - irrelevant/refusal to answer.
Please refer to the geek code for a more complete explanation.
You can combine both codes if you wish or transfer some from one to the
other, but please state that (If you combine them call it RGMW/GEEK CODE
BLOCK and if you combine them put the Geek Code letters in brackets.
Here's how the new letters work:

4++++ Amazing! Fantastic! The greatest revolution in gaming since the
creation of tabletop wargames themselves. I live and breath this game,
using every hour of every day to devising how to create new
rules/characters/etc. I take it on holiday with me and have created a
miniature version to play at work.
4+++ I play it most of the time, it is permanently out of it's box
since I usually tinker with it, painting figures etc.
4++ I've got it in the cupboard somewhere, getting it out when my
other games come around to have a game. It rarely gathers dust.
4+ It's a fun game; I like it, if only for sentimental reasons. I
don't really play it anymore, though.
4 I bought it because it was cheap, played it a few times, but am
undecided about it.
4- The only reason I bought this one was because it had GW written on
the box.
4-- If I could go back in time I'd get rid of this game
4--- What the hell was Jervis thinking?
4---- If the name is ever mentioned in my house I shall feed you to
my dog/god/devil children
4? Never played it
D: DEVOTION/FANBOYISHNESS
You love GW, don't you. Don't you? Whatever your position you should
state whether you love them or hate them.
D+++ I worship the ground that GW walk on, I know the staff members
by name and have to call up customer services for a chat because no-one
else will go near me. I have every edition of every game and have paid
£100 just to complete my White Dwarf collection. I never buy at anything
except retail price.
D++ I think GW are just doing what they must do, they are a business
after all and must make money. I have most games, but if I don't like it
I wait until it is discounted so I can get it cheep
D+ I buy mostly over the net but if I pass a GW store I pop in. I
like the staff and find them welcoming and helpful. The models are of
good quality but the price is anything but good. I'm rather nostalgic to
the days when you could buy a model for 60p
D I don't really care, I haven't bought any models for a long while
and don't really want any of the new ones so whether they raise their
prices or not doesn't matter. Although if they lowered them I might buy
some more guys to fill out my army. I have all the old editions and
don't see any reason for changing a system I like
D- I haven't bought a GW model in years and regularly walk into
stores just to show off my new Warzone figs that I use as marines. I
still play the games but use my friends instead of buying my own. Even
if they did lower their prices I still think the figures have taken a
nosedive over the years.
D-- I never go into a store and regularly declare my disgust about GW
over the NG's and mailing lists I hate the games and the prices are
ludicrous. The gaming systems themselves are clumsy and worthless and
getting worse every time. GW have turned into a money-grabbing business
trying to monopolise all the gaming market.
D--- I own a gaming store that does/did store GW products
D! I work for T$R
V: VICTORIES
v+++ I have won all my games through good tactics and fair play. At
the end my opponents don't hate me or call me cheesy and I point out
their weakness in their army and help them become better players. I do
things by a time-honoured tradition and never take any risks. I haven't
changed my army in ages except to add new troop types that are released
(and only when I have playtested them).
v++ I win 70-80% of my games. I sometimes do things I regret, taking
risks and slightly bending rules. I am a wild player, doing things for
fun whether I think I'll win or not. I play against pointlessly stupid
odds just to find out what could happen and smile all the way.
v+ I win 50-60% of my games, using stupid extra rules and
deliberately shooting at own troops. I learn from opponents but mostly
play for the fun of loosing rather than winning.
v I have won 50% of my games, average gamer all round
v- I loose 50-60% of my games, I'm just can't seem to get the hang of
it.
v-- I loose 70-80% of my games. Damn I suck..
v--- I loose almost all of my games due to the fact that I either
don't play them often or am such a good player I feel like I must let my
opponent win.
v* I am Jervis Johnson
v? No-one plays me anymore 'cos I'm cheesy
and that leads us greatly to our next subject:
c: CHEESE
c--- I use the least about of troops possible, utilising every
special character and vortex grenades for every one. I abuse the system,
and create my own troop types with amazingly stupid weapons. I am the
ultimate in beard.
c-- I use what is considered 'cheesy' combinations of wargear and
magic items but don't argue if my opponent wants a no magic or no
special character game.
c- I obey the rules and uphold what I believe is the right thing to
do, I still respect other opinions but if I want to use the forbidden
rod or the crown of command why shouldn't I?
c I don't use any overpriced magic items so not to start an argument
c- I never use special characters and field mostly basic troops
c-- I never use special characters or magic items
c--- I never use special characters, psychic powers/magic,
wargear/magic items or large armies as they are the embodiment of
cheese.
FLUFF
F+++ I am T'oma
F++ I base all my armies around the original background material and
have new chapters in marines with whole histories/characters/homeworlds
and special scenarios based on historical battles. I modify or base my
opinions about rules on the background of the armies and the game
itself. My marines are brutal fascist warriors who murder and pillage in
the name of the Emperor, my Eldar and sane and cool minded, almost to
the point of being unnatural. I am a member of the Fluff Nazi's and have
a massive web-based fluff archive. I have a Slann/Jokero/Samuri/Nippon
army.
F+ I love the games on the fluff mostly, using the obscure parts to
baffle my opponents and create new armies. If a rules dispute arrives I
go with the option that means fairness and common sense. I have a
Genecult/Halfling/Squat army.
F I love the rules and fluff equally
F- You base the game on rules not fluff, they are too different
thing.
F-- Why bother with fluff? I play to win.
F--- If you can't use it for a tactical advantage why bother?
F? What's fluff?
F* I wrote Rogue Trader

3: WH40K VERSION 3
3++++ 40K3 rocks! I hate and despise anyone who plays anything else!
3+++ I'll never play v2 again!
3++40K3 is great, easy to play and brilliantly created. I still play
v2 for small games, though.
3+ I like v3 and v2 for different reasons, I play both - even at the
same time.
3 I like both equally well, I'm indifferent.
3- I liked the old ones, but the new version puts even that to shame
3-- Damn it, they ruined a perfectly good game by making it simple
and pointlessly dull.
3--- I'm part of the RTC
3---- I'm Tom Beliech.
!3 I don't play 40K

I agree, mixing with the standard geek code will just cause unnecessary
confusion for our non-RGMW geek brethren. Besides, more blocks make for a
bigger .sig...

Most definitely not, not by a long shot...
