It gets better - the 40k pdfs are from Dakka.
Maybe there's an Ork FAQ over there . . .

Oh HELL no. The home of the RAW crowd... except when it's Orks. Then you
can't have a LD over ten, any time, any way.

Oh they are really the "Ill Tempered Marines" Codex. We just *CALL* them
CSM now.

Your mistake is trying to find anything on the US site. You'll have to
hit the UK site (which might mean deleting your GW cookies so it'll let
you choose a country). Here's the direct link to the UK errata site...

http://uk.games-workshop.com/news/errata/3/

If you scroll down the page, the 40K stuff is down towards the bottom.

Hope that helps,

Yeah, that is scary. While I don't have any personal problem with
Yakface or most of the regs - there are some damn stupid Mofos there who
can't even interprete the rules AS WRITTEN because they have fuckall for
comprehension of basic english. I had a rather interesting thread with
a tool who couldn't understand that 'twin-linked' = two weapons fired
counting as 1 shot, thus a Monstrous creature with 'two pairs' of twin-
linked weapons could fire both pairs (1 shot + 1 shot = 2 shots per turn
allowed to MC's) in any given turn if so desired. Flying Tyrants with 2
pairs of twin-linked devourers = 12 shots per turn (ouchy!). It's the
kind of shit that would get someone laughed off an open form and the
'coddle the morons cause they're people too' attitude that I loath.

(it's not really a "fucking" FAQ it's more of a "posting" FAQ now that I

The real question is 'Is this 4th Edition errata only, or is it mean to
be used with the upcoming 5th Ed rules as well?'

(The fact that the fan base now seems to have to write its own FAQs is
both ironic and perhaps hopeful at the same time. Where the hell is
Philip Bowles, RTM, & Maka when you need them?)

If I saw a unit of models hit the table at a points

I'd be on them like Nurgle needs a breath mint.

There's a big issue right there. 5th Edition is the 800 pound gorilla
in the room, and I can't help but think these ARE 4th edition FAQ,
finally being released just in time for 40K5 to make them obsolete.

Obsolescence is the GW way, after all.

Ah, the BHL mentality... Whatever happened to just telling someone
like it is?

I think these people are trying to interpret things in whatever manner
gives them the most benefit. It'd be funny to point out their
precious Land Raiders have a bunch of twin-linked weapons which, if
you call them two weapons each, would never be able to fire unless the
thing was standing still.
