Hi!

I've got some of the old Ral Partha Land-Air Mechs (namely 2 Phoenix Hawks,
a Stinger and a Wasp), and I've been considering selling them on(perhaps on
eBay), along with other Btech stuff, as no-one else local has any interest
in Btech. Roughly how much would you all consider their value? (£ or $)

They're painted to a fair standard (piccies on request), and have been
varnished.

Well Daniel,
I just sold two of the Phawk LAMs on Ebay yesterday and pulled in $36
on each. But I have seen them go anywhere from $15 to $50 US.

Hmm...more than I thought I'd get... :) D'ya think a nice paint job will
improve my chances of getting more dosh? Or do most people after such rare
(or so I'm told) minis strip 'em down?

I've got to be honest. A "nice" paint job probably won't make them sell for
more. But a fantastic paint job will. When Frazier put up mechs you could
always guarantee $50-$100 per depending on the mech. They were THAT nice.
Otherwise, though, I'd say most people strip down the paint job for their own
repaints.

Don't suppose you have links to any examples of his stuff?

That's about all you'll need. ;)

Probably $15-20 apiece, depending on what you mean by "fair". The Wasp might
be worth a bit more, but prices on Ebay have been falling of late, so it's not
a real good time to sell. Summer seems to be the slump time for most things;
I'd wait until fall to put 'em up if you're going to sell that way.

Holee-friggin'-<bleep>!!! Damn, they're good...! (and apologies to
Jeanette Frazier for preemptively assuming she was male... ;) )
I'm not *quite* that good yet, but getting close. :) I'll try and get my
gallery up and running ASAP...

I tend to pay more for the mini in good condition, as the paint job usually
will clash with whatever the style (Wood, Desert, Urban Camouflage) of
painting that I am using at the time. I don't do much dress painting as I
use my mini's more for combat than having out on display.
