There are no "official world record" lists on Mahjongg Master...
MJM 1.0 is based on Kyodai 3.01, a very old version of mine. It didn't
use many capacities so it was probably about 10% faster than the
current versions of Kyodai in 2D... But anyway, even if I disactivate
the checking in Kyodai (i.e. I can remove pairs of unmatching tiles),
it takes me at least 1mn30 to clear the board, so I guess it's hard to
reach these scores... My personal best is 1:54, but I wasn't even
playing against the clock... I was simply very lucky to have an
extremely easy board... That may have been your case, too.
The reason why I'm not tracking records is that Kyodai is NOT a
program where speed is required. Only skill. It is designed to relax
the user, not to stress him. I can only be stressed when I'm playing
to break my records, and I don't like that... Since I'm the author,
I'm ultimately the one who choses what my baby will look like... And
it was a clear decision for me for forbid this kind of competition.
That's also the reason why the highscores aren't encrypted and they
can be modified easily. So nobody will try to send me their
Hallfame.ini files... ;-)
One time, I received a screen shot of the "congratulations" screen,
but it could also have been modified with a graphic program... ;)))
Anyway. I hope you understand my point of view.
PS : subliminal message -- try Kyodai 9.42 -- eheh ;-)))

And I totally agree with him....

Not at Kyodai.
I'm trying to play without having to shuffle the game. Not to finish
as soon as possible. That's why I like to stare at my screen,
thinking, and doing my moves whenever I want... However, because of my
job consisting of playing Kyodai regularly to improve it (I launch it
about 2000 times a month... gasp), I can consider I've achieved a very
good playing level at all of these games... except maybe Slider, but I
never play it ;-)
So, 1:49 is a good score, equivalent to my own best score. But, again,
I do not play for competition. I play for meditation. (You wouldn't
believe that the thing I mostly do with Kyodai currently is to load
it, launch a Traditional board, and then play around with my mouse to
move the board in all directions in the 3D mode... I know it's
childish, but it took me a whole week to figure out how to do the best
lighting possible, and now I want to take benefit from that ;))

Please guys, do not post articles on the solitaire game in this
newsgroup.

So are you offended if I say "Robert is a jerk"?
(My point is, Robert who?)
I'm sorry about the tone of this, but different things getting the
same name doesn't make them the same thing.
And this off-topic high-score bragging is extremely boring. I can put
up with more meaningful discussions about the solitaire game (such as
on play strategy or comparing different programs), but please move the
high score bragging to rec.games.computer.puzzle .
It isn't the kind of game in which the "high score" has any real
meaning, anyway. Is visual pattern-matching and fast mouse-clicking
that worthy of bragging about?

Or nowhere, simply ;)

Yup, that's what I said...

It's simple, it's universal. It's Zen. Not action. ;-)
I once played this neat game that rewarded pattern-matching and fast
button pressing. It was called Radiant Silvergun. Have you ever
played it? ^_^;;;;

Yes. Radiant Silvergun rewards pattern recognition/analysis and
control precision, which is IMO more worthy of bragging about. ^_^
It's more complex for a novice to figure out what is happening in
stage 3D than to find matching pairs of mahjong tiles.
