We thought it would be both fun and informative to host a
series of live interviews with IF authors and programmers at the IF
Mud (telnet to fovea.retina.net 4000, or point your web
browser at http://fovea.retina.net:4001). Note the different ports.
The first session will be Wednesday, March 4, 1998 at 6 PM
Pacific Time (which is 2 AM Greenwich Mean Time on March 5.) Remember
to recalculate for your intermediate time zone.
Adam Cadre, author of Interstate Zero, which won the Xyzzy
Award for Best Game of 1997, will be the guest.
A new space will created for the Forum, so look for signs when
you arrive. In order to hold the length down to about an hour, we're
asking attendees to refrain from talking and emoting during the
interview. Of course, communicating via a whisper is still possible.
The last part of the session will be given over to questions from the
floor.
If this evening is a success, we'll invite other authors and
programmers to share their wit and wisdom, and make this an ongoing
series. The list of interesting and productive IF people is a long
one, and many of you are on it! :)
Hope you can join us for this new venture!
