Plus, I quite liked the "bite-sized" games - especially Enlightenment
and Zero Sum, which were both hillarous (although I had to
peek at the hints for a certain puzzle).
So, the question is - what are the stand-outs in those categories
(really
long and really short games)?
A quick cop-out reply using the opinions of people other than
myself ... take a look at "5-star rating" games at Baf's Guide and

Before you buy.
Really long and really short? I'm not that certain I can categorise them in
that
way, but a really long but great game is 'Delusions'. Other long games are
'Varicella', 'Worlds Apart'.
Some really short games are Photopia, Shrapnel, 9:05.
And in between, where length is concerned, are games like 'Spider In The
Web' and 'Edifice'.
All of the above are great. Hope they helped

Here's some games I enjoyed.
Short/Medium Games:
Photopia
Balances (if you liked Enchanter)
MST3K1 - (the Mystery Science Theater 3000 rendition of 'Detective')
Muse
Spider & Web (tangle.z5)
John's Fire Witch
Longer games:
So Far
Christminster
Theatre
SpiritWrak
Unnkulian series
Umm.. I can't think of anything else off the top of my head but there's a
lot of other great stuff out there.
