First of all, a reminder that intent to enter e-mails are due in my
mailbox by September 1st, 1997. If you have not notified me that you
intend to enter by then, you will not be eligible to enter this year's
competition.

Next, one last call for prizes. We could use a few more. The webpage
isn't completely up to date about prizes (I've had my hands full lately)
but it will be by (hopefully) the end of the week or so.

Hmm, anything else of note...I'd better run through the deadlines one last
time:

Sept 1: Intent to enter must be emailed to g...@pobox.com by this time.

Sept 30: Entries must have been privately sent to me by this point. I am
available for consultation on how to use UUENCODE or whatnot if you need
help.

The Judging Period will probably be set based on the number of entries we
get. I'll try to allow one-two days per entry, without exceeding more
than about 45 days of voting. Remember the two-hour rule when voting, it
is our most important rule. (See the webpage if confused)
