yeah, I want the Infocom-nostalgia threads to move into their own
newsgroup too. :) This is rec.arts.INT-FICTION, not rec.arts.infocom.

a) ...this is rec.GAMES.int-fiction.
b) Infocom marketed interactive fiction. They coined the term, or at least
had quite a large hand in it.
My advice to you and Mr. Blaheta is this: If you don't like a thread, or
it's contents, or it's author, don't read it. Traffic on these newsgroups
isn't heavy enough to go through the effort to have a split (which probably
wouldn't be approved, anyways), and a split wouldn't do either of the
groups any good.
If you want a clogged newsgroup, or even a busy one, try something like
alt.folklore.urban. Then you can come back and see how un-busy the i-f
newsgroups are.

Heh, heh, heh.... Yeah, I remember when this newsgroup was mostly
Infocom nostalgia. Then we went through an "Unnkulia is kuul" phase.
Now it's the Curse of Curses.

Personally, I think that this is a Good Thing. It proves that IF is
still viable, even for us diehards. I'd rather not see everything get
fragmented until we've got hundreds of messages per day. Take it all in
stride, and be happy people are still enjoying this wonderful art form.
