Hi,

A friend of mine recently uncovered her sister's collection of old
Infocom games which she hadn't played over a while. She finally sent
it to her hoping that we could still recover it, since most of the
other stuff inside the boxes were already eaten out by cockroaches, I
think.

Eeeeww? Poor maintenance, yeah, I admit. We were able to recover most
of the games, though. Others were simply just garbage now, unreadable
to say the least.

In any case, can anyone recommend how to best go through these games
in terms of difficulty? I play more modern IF now, and the last
Infocom classic I played was AMFV. After playing a couple of modern IF
pieces out of the Archive, she'd like to try out the Infocom games.
I'm interested as well. How would you guys rank those games from easy
to hard?

From the reviews I've read so far, Wishbringer and Seastalker seems to
be pretty easy. How about the others?

Thanks!

PS: She only had the text-based games, but could you include the ones
with graphics? Thanks again.

Read this thread:

You'll find most of Infocom's own ratings listed there. There's also
a link to a site where you can get difficulty ratings for the
remaining games.
