A spoiler trap opens beneath you!
You fall into a pit of spoilers.
You need three items to get into Moloch's sanctum in Gehennom: The Book of
the Dead (from the Wizard of Yendor), the Bell of Opening (from your quest
nemesis), and the Candelabrum of invocation (from Vlad the Impaler). In order
to light the Candelabrum to use it, you need to put seven candles into it.

PS - in that game, I spent ages looking for a wand and collecting tools
after I'd got the B.O.T.D. from the WoY. Eventually got to The Square
and commenced the sequence - and all the candles sputtered out.
Cursed CoI's are not good news, waaaaaaaaaaah!!
